Paperwork
Completing the necessary paperwork with the Grenadian government for the proposal of a Sustainable Carbon Forest project. This involves several critical steps to ensure compliance with national regulations and alignment with environmental and development priorities.
Dealing with the Ministry of Climate Resilience on a pre-feasibility study for a project has been enlightening and lengthly but is very important to be completed in detail prior to establishing the forest. We would like to say we could start planting this year but....maybe 2026 will be when we can establish the pilot program.

Now that 2024 has ended and we start a New Year, the team is focusing on starting our new project in Grenada as part of the sustainable growth within the country after hurricane Beryl.
2024 ended on a surprising note for the Little Blue Tree after being nominated for the Earthshot Prize 2025 by the Caribbean Climate - Smart Accelerator.
We are a little exited about just being nominated 😀
and feel very blessed and thank everyone involved for nominating us.
